Associate Attorney Kirsten Nordstrom
Kirsten Nordstrom is an associate at Garner, Ginsburg & Johnsen P.A. Kirsten represents franchisees and other small business owners in a variety of litigation and transactional matters. She assists clients with civil litigation, contract and lease negotiations, entity formation, and more.
Kirsten has published articles on issues in franchising, employment, and alcoholic beverage and cannabis regulations. She has presented at the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising, has contributed to The Franchise Lawyer, and co-authored a chapter in The Franchising Relationship Deskbook. In 2024, Kirsten received the American Bar Association Forum on Franchising’s Future Leader Award. Kirsten also enjoys coaching a local high school’s Mock Trial Team.
Kirsten is a 2020 cum laude graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School, where she was the recipient of the Dean’s Distinguished Scholarship and the Lloyd Peterson Scholarship. During law school, Kirsten worked as a student attorney in the University’s Environmental and Energy Law Clinic and contributed to the Silha Bulletin, the quarterly publication of the Silha Center for the Study of Media Ethics and Law. She earned a B.A and B.S from Colorado State University, where she was honored on the Dean’s List.

In her free time, Kirsten enjoys rock climbing, hiking with her dogs, Banjo and Fiddle, and spending as much time outside as possible. She lives in Fort Collins, Colorado.
